Recover data from Common Error Messages

Invalid Partition table

The system examined the master partition table to determine volume (drive) used to boot the operating system, and found invalid information within it.

It can be due to the following reasons

  • MBR does not have the valid partition information
  • BIOS does not detect the MBR (Master Boot Record)
  • Master partition table has become corrupted
  • More than one partitions is set active

Solution

  • Run FDISK command from DOS prompt and check only single partition is set active.

If you are not able to get your data from above mentioned solution

Then it is suggested to connect infected disk as secondary and use another primary disk (Healthy disk) to run Pro Data Doctor's Windows data recovery software for data recovery.
