No boot Media found
No system disk error
Basic Input/Output System (BIOS) cannot find the boot sector or master boot record is missing or damaged; i.e. the device does not have bootable media. All this can be due to the following reasons.
- No bootable partition on a hard disk drive
- Defective hard disk drive
- The CMOS drive settings (parameters) are not correct for the boot device
- Your computer may be virus infected
Solutions
- Ensure that you have installed the operating system properly.
- Check your BIOS setting (First boot device should be Hard disk).
- Make sure bootable partition should be enabled active.
If you are not able to get your data from the above mentioned solutions
Then it is suggested to connect infected disk as secondary and use another primary disk (Healthy disk) to run Pro Data Doctor Windows data recovery software.

Invalid Media Type reading (Abort, Retry, Fail)
This can be caused by one of three following reasons:
- The hard disk drive does not have a valid format
- The hard disk drive is not formatted using FDISK
- The hard disk drive is bad
- IDE cable is not connected properly
- Hard disk logic card does not provide the valid information
Solutions
Check that no removable media is inserted, if so then remove it and restart your computer.
Else
